Developing a character for a game

At Hyper Island, we were given a school assignment to pitch a game. The task was to choose an existing game for inspiration, or create one from scratch, and produce a game trailer or simulated gameplay footage.

Pitch a Game

My team created a game trailer featuring Doodlemite, a small hero on a big mission to save the world and recover a stolen crystal. The trailer showcases exciting challenges, clever puzzles, and epic moments that bring Doodlemite’s adventure to life.

My Contribution

My chosen role in the project focused on character animation and 3D modeling.

  • I created a walk cycle, developed collaboratively with my classmates

  • Modeled the main character in Blender

These creatures are known as Doodlemites, and the goal was to give them a playful yet expressive personality that could work within a game environment.
